Cat Park is a game launched in October 2022 by the Global Engagement Center (GEC) of the Department of State. It is one of the GEC’s games designed to inoculate against disinformation. The game is based on the “active inoculation” theory, pioneered by the University of Cambridge’s Social Decision-Making Lab.
I created and produced a video about the power of words against violence. The video shows scenes of people facing bullets with their voices, their signs, and their pens. The video ends with a message in Arabic: “كلماتك أقوى من رعبهم” (Your words are stronger than their terror). The video aims to inspire people to resist oppression and injustice with peaceful means.
